    What is your skincare routine?

Morning:

• Rinse face with water

• Apply Action-C serum (from IFP's special-order cosmetics); allow to absorb

• Apply thin coat of IFP's I'll Get You (Lines), My Pretty to eye area, nasolabial folds, lips, forehead, between eyes, neck, & chest; allow to absorb

• Apply IFP's Pretty Pearlfection Facial Lotion (or Pearlfection Cream mixed with Pearlfection Spray) to face, neck, & chest; allow to absorb

• Apply thin coat of MAC's Fast Response Eye Cream if I have any puffiness around eyes (due to allergies); allow to absorb

• Apply Action-C creme (from IFP's special-order cosmetics), allow to absorb

• Apply Illuminating Eye Treatment (from IFP's special-order cosmetics)

• Apply sunscreen

Evening:

My evening routine varies because my skin is pretty finicky. I've learned to "listen" to it, and I just adapt my routine to fit whatever my skin needs at the time.

• Nightly: Use IFP's Pretty Easy Eye Makeup Remover to remove eye makeup & any silicone-based foundation. I put 3-4 pumps of the remover on my fingertips, then apply to my skin. I allow it to soak in for a couple of minutes, then remove with a tissue.  For my eye makeup, I dampen a cotton pad with warm water, add 3-4 pumps of the remover, fold the pad over to disperse the oil, then hold the pad on each eye for about 30 seconds before wiping away eye makeup.

• Nightly: Cleanse face with IFP's Pure & Pretty Clarifying Cleanser

• This is where it gets tricky. The schedule goes like this: Day 1: AHA; Day 2: BHA; Day 3: neither; then repeat starting with Day 1. So for Day 1, I apply IFP's Glycolic Acid 10% Serum (from IFP's special-order cosmetics) to face, neck, & chest - avoiding eye area; leave it on for 10-20 minutes, then move on to the next product. For Day 2, I apply IFP's Pretty Amazing 5% BHA Liquid to face, neck, & chest - avoiding eye area. I put a small amount on my fingertips & apply to my skin, repeating as needed until area is covered. I only wait about 10 minutes after applying before going to the next step. (30 minutes is recommended for maximum benefits, but my skin has been sensitive lately). For Day 3, I skip these two products and go right to the next step.

• Apply thin coat of IFP's I'll Get You (Lines), My Pretty to eye area, nasolabial folds, lips, forehead, between eyes, neck, & chest; allow to absorb

• Apply IFP's Pretty Pearlfection Facial Lotion (or Pearlfection Cream mixed with the Pearlfection Spray) to face, neck, & chest; allow to absorb

• Apply Illuminating Eye Treatment (from IFP's special-order cosmetics)

• If I have any breakouts, I sometimes make a watery paste of water & Pearlfection Powder & dab that onto the area. It has to be fairly watery in order to stick to the skin. When it's almost dry, I dip a brush in the powder & dab on top of the paste to make it thicker. I allow this to stay on overnight. If I don't think I need the paste, I will just dust lightly with the Pearlfection Powder.

 In what order should I apply my products?

I used to receive instruction sheets with my order, why are they no longer included? Where can I find printable instructions?

In an effort to reduce the amount of paper & ink used, I have decided to no longer include the instruction sheets with orders. Some products have the instructions printed on the labels. For those that do not, or for more detailed instructions, you can find a link on the specific product page. You can read the instructions online or copy, paste, & print the instructions that you need.

I used to receive a printed invoice with my order, why is it no longer included? Where can I find a copy of my invoice?

In an effort to reduce the amount of paper & ink used, I have decided to no longer include paper copies of invoices with orders. You will receive an electronic copy of your invoice via email. If you still require a paper copy, please let me know before your order ships so that I can include it with the order.

Will the oils clog my pores or cause acne?

The oils used in all of the I Feel Pretty products are botanical oils that do not clog pores. However, there is always the chance that ANY product can cause a reaction, such as irritation acne.

 I have sensitive skin, will your products cause irritation?

The I Feel Pretty products are formulated to be gentle, even on sensitive skin. It is always best to do a 24-hour test spot on the back of the neck whenever trying ANY new product before applying all over the face and/or body.

 I am getting breakouts after using your product, should I stop?

If you are using one of the BHA products, one of the facial oils, and/or the Pearlfection cream or powder, it is normal for breakouts to appear or increase for the first 2-4 weeks because the skin is purging. However, after that, breakouts should lessen or go away completely. If you continue to have increased breakouts, I would suggest decreasing/discontinuing use of the product(s).

Can I return or exchange items? (updated 6/3/10)

Due to the nature of IFP products, returns are only possible in the event of a shipping error - so please be sure that you are ordering the correct products. If you're unsure of what to order, please contact me prior to placing your order & I will answer any questions. Another option would be to try samples before purchasing full-sized products.

You must notify me of the error within 7 days of receiving your order and then I will gladly reship the new item. All sales are final after 7 days.

 I have questions about your shipping policies, where can I find that info?

 When will my order arrive?

IFP orders are processed and shipped Monday through Thursday. Occasionally, I will ship orders on Saturday.  If the items you order are already made & in stock, your package will most likely ship in 1-2 business days. If the items need to be made, then it can take 1-5 days for them to be ready for shipping. Domestic packages are sent by USPS priority mail, and should arrive within 2-3 days after they are shipped, although sometimes priority mail has been known to take longer. You will have a delivery confirmation number that you can use to track your package.
