My personal experience with pearl/silk products: The two biggest changes that I noticed in my skin after introducing the Pearlfection products into my routine were 1) that my skin was staying matte all day, and 2) that it was purged of impurities that I didn't even realize were there. Pretty Pearlfection Gel (1 oz. cobalt glass bottle with treatment pump top) - $15.00 This product contains pearl powder, silicones, niacinamide & panthenol. It works well for those with oily skin and also for those who like a silicone base under their makeup. I do NOT recommend this product for anyone who can't tolerate silicones. Ingredients: water, proprietary blend of dimethicones & cyclomethicones, dipropylene glycol, pearl powder, niacinamide, panthenol, hydrolyzed oats, sodium chloride, propylene glycol, diazolidinyl urea, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, sodium citrate, allantoin, & tetrasodium EDTA. Pretty Pearlfection Cream - reformulated 1/20/08 The only thing 'new' about the formula is the consistency & the emulsifier - it is a lighter, creamier formula which is easier to apply. It can be applied with or without water/facial spritz/hydrosols. You may find that you need to stir the product a bit from time to time. There may be some settling during shipping, so the jar may not be filled to the top when you receive it. This product contains pearl powder, silk, hyaluronic acid, and nourishing botanical oils. This product can be used by any skintype. Ingredients: water, pearl powder, calendula, lavender, & raspberry leaf infusions, cetearyl alcohol (and) polysorbate 60, hydrolyzed silk, watermelon seed, raspberry seed, & cranberry seed oils, hyaluronic acid, iris florentina extract, tocopherol, liquid germall plus, tangerine, lavender, & geranium essential oils. Pretty Pearlfection Powder (20g black jar with black/clear lid & sifter insert) - $10.00 Pearl & silk powders make up the main part of this loose powder - also contains other nourishing powders. Excellent for oily skintypes, but can be used by any skintype because the pearl & silk powders are 'self-adjusting' to the moisture needs of the skin. Can be used as a primer powder, finishing powder, or as a night treatment. Ingredients: oryza sativa (rice) powder, silk powder, pearl powder, silymarin powder, hydrolyzed oat protein, titanium dioxide, & zinc oxide. Shelf life: 2 months - longer if kept tightly closed.

page. About the other ingredients: Iris florentina extract - stimulates skin to compensate for decreased metabolic activity due to aging. Reduces the depth of wrinkles, improves skin hydration and elasticity for an overall improvement in skin tone. Red raspberry seed oil - excellent antioxidant, has superior anti-inflammatory properties, & studies indicate that it may act as a broad-spectrum UVA and UVB shield. (but please continue to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen). Cranberry seed oil - has a natural balance of omega 3, 6 & 9 fatty acids not found elsewhere in natural oils. Also rich in Vitamin E and other natural antioxidants. Watermelon seed oil - highly penetrating oil that absorbs quickly & is highly moisturizing. It is rich in omega 6 & 9 fatty acids. Can help to dissolve sebum build-up.
